【去打卡】英國公布7個新世界遺產候選 你知道這些地方嗎？（附英國33個世遺名單）

「世界遺產」分為「自然遺產」和「文化遺產」，以及兼具兩者的「複合遺產」；被列入世界遺產名錄的地方，須對全人類都具有「突出的普世價值」，在地理或歷史上具有可辨識與特殊意義。世界遺產多是一些古代遺址、歷史建築、城市，也包括森林、島嶼、湖泊、山脈，甚至是沙漠或荒野。4月10日，英國政府公布支持7個地方加入遴選聯合國教科文組織（UNESCO）「世界遺產地位」（World Heritage Status），包括：

 

 

（1）約克市中心（York city centre）

約克市中心歷史氛圍十分濃郁：它刻印著盎格魯-撒克遜、維京和諾曼的歷史，包括約克大教堂（York Minster）在內的宗教建築。

 

（2）伯肯希德公園（Birkenhead Park）

位於馬西塞特郡（Merseyside）城市伯肯希德（Birkenhead），臨近利物浦，此公園1947年開放，為綠化城市環境的開創性項目，乃當時全球的一個典範，可說是世界首個「城市公園」。美國紐約中央公園（Central Park）等著名景點都受此公園的藍圖影響。

 

（3）鐵器時代遺址攝德蘭天頂（The Zenith of Iron Age Shetland）

Mousa Broch、Jarlshof和Old Scatness——可以追溯到數千年前的史前定居點，是Shetland島嶼上歷史重要的一筆。

The Zenith of Iron Age Shetland已非第一次獲提名。

 

（4）候鳥遷徙路線 / 東大西洋遷徙（The East Atlantic Flyway）

這是一條飛越西歐的候鳥遷徙路線，路線包括約克郡、林肯郡、諾福克、薩福克、埃塞克斯和肯特。它的加入是為了承認其對鳥類種群和野生動物的重要意義。

 

（5）海洋保護區小開曼島海洋公園（The Little Cayman Marine Parks）

位於英國海外領地開曼群島的小開曼島海洋公園和保護區，因其對海洋生物多樣性的特殊重要性和絕美自然景觀而被提名。

 

（6）歐洲最大泥炭沼澤——蘇格蘭「流動國度」（The Flow Country）

蘇格蘭「流動國度」：包含蘇格蘭北部Caithness以及Sutherland的大片泥炭地，在支持生物多樣性方面發揮著重要作用，景色十分壯觀。

 

（7）北愛爾蘭摩拉維亞人聚居地（Gracehill Moravian Church Settlement）

Gracehill是在1740年代John和Jane Cennick在該地區傳教後，作為摩拉維亞人的定居點而建立；教堂1759年建成。
